You can, but you shouldn't.
Running two different brake pads, or brake pads made of different materials, front and back won't cause any damage to the vehicle. However, to maximize and even out the wear on your brakes, we recommend sticking with one material.
There are benefits to mixing and matching pads, but they are generally seen only on the track with high-performance pads. For the majority of cases, it's best to decide on one material and stick with it.
If for some reason you decide to mix materials for one reason or another, it isn't the end of the world. However, you may experience abnormal braking behavior and uneven pad wear from the two materials.
