There are several choices when shopping for EBC brake pads, and not all of them will apply to your driving style. Here's a quick guide to choose which color is best for you!
EBC Greenstuff: Daily Street Upgrade
Ideal for daily-driven vehicles and spirited street use, Greenstuff pads offer improved stopping power and pedal feel over stock components. They feature a "Brake-In" surface coating for faster bedding and produce low-to-moderate dust. Note: These are not suitable for track use.
EBC Redstuff: Premium Performance Street
Redstuff pads provide a performance upgrade over Greenstuff with a ceramic-enhanced, low-dust formula. While excellent for high-performance street use, they are not recommended for the track as the compound is not designed for the sustained high temperatures of aggressive racing.
EBC Yellowstuff: Premium Fast Street & Light Track Use
EBC's most popular street and sport option, Yellowstuff pads are designed for mixed daily use and light track duty. They offer excellent cold bite and superior high-temperature fade resistance. Track use requires a longer bed-in process involving three high-heat cycles.
EBC Bluestuff: Hybrid Race & Street Use
Bluestuff is one of the highest-performing pads offered by EBC. These hybrid street and track pads are low noise with fast break-in for track use and an operating temperature range of Ambient -550°C (Ambient - 1000 °F).
Engineered for medium to heavy track use, these pads warm up quickly for peak performance. Bluestuff pads are aggressive and may increase rotor wear compared to lower-tier options.
Additionally, Bluestuff pads are available in two friction coefficient variants: high-friction (Bluestuff NDX) and low-friction (Bluestuff B).
EBC Orangestuff: Full Trackday Pads with Quick Bite, Not Suitable for Street Use
Specifically engineered for professional drivers and racetrack environments, EBC Orangestuff is their highest-friction pad option available, delivering fade-resistant and reliable performance under track conditions.
These pads use semi-metallic compounds to achieve high friction levels and a rapid bite. They are designed with cooling grooves and weight-balanced backing plates to reduce braking noise; however, this aggressive formula will lead to more rapid rotor wear.
Orangestuff pads are not recommended for street use.
EBC RP-1: Trackday Pads with a Progressive Bite
RP-1 pads are thermally bedded with a moderately high friction coefficient and more progressive bite than Orangestuff, allowing for easy swap in during track day. They feature a 100–750°C (200–1400°F) operating range and a stainless-steel backplate to minimize heat transfer.
These are designed for heavy-duty track use/professional racing and are not recommended as a daily pad.

Once your car is added to the selector, there are a couple of important ways that we advise correct fitment.
The first is the "fitment indicator" shown on the Product Page after selecting a part. This box is below the "add to cart button" and has two states. It will either say " Yes this part fits" or "Part may not fit, click to verify".
Sometimes the green box will be accompanied by extra fitment notes. These notes may be independent of the information gathered by the vehicle selector. IE: VIN-specific options, need to be taken into account when determining overall fitment.
