There are several choices when shopping for EBC brake pads, and not all of them will apply to your driving style. Here's a quick guide to choose which color is best for you!
EBC Greenstuff Pads
Greenstuff pads are best suited for a daily driven application, with some spirited driving.
There's a slight increase in stopping power compared to stock pads and an improved pedal feel over the stock braking system.
EBC Redstuff Pads
Redstuff pads are a performance increase over Greenstuff, but with 80% less brake dust.
Although they're a well-rounded pad, they're not recommended for track use because their softer compound does not brake as hard or for as long as EBC's Yellowstuff, Bluestuff, or Orangestuff.
EBC Yellowstuff Pads
Yellowstuff is the right choice if you're looking for mixed daily duty paired with track performance.
Offering much greater stopping power than Greenstuff or Redstuff, these can be used for hard driving on the road as well as being suitable for light track duty.
EBC Bluestuff Pads
Now you are left with one of the two highest-performing pads offered by EBC.
These pads are designed for medium to heavy track duty and may require to be wared-up to perform optimally. Bluestuff pads are aggressive and may wear your rotors at high rate.
EBC Orangestuff Pads
Orangestuff pads are the highest-performing pads offered by EBC in their distinct color line-up.
These are designed for heavy-duty track use/professional racing and are not recommended as a daily pad.
If you're interested in finding brake pads that fit your vehicle, head over to fcpeuro.com and start by entering your vehicle into our vehicle selector.
Once your car is added to the selector, there are a couple of important ways that we advise correct fitment.
The first is the "fitment indicator" shown on the Product Page after selecting a part. This box is below the "add to cart button" and has two states. It will either say " Yes this part fits" or "Part may not fit, click to verify".
Sometimes the green box will be accompanied by extra fitment notes. These notes may be independent of the information gathered by the vehicle selector. IE: VIN-specific options, need to be taken into account when determining overall fitment.
