Parts are sometimes back-ordered due to depletion of stock from the manufacturer or the discontinuation of production. Unfortunately, discontinued items are usually permanently unavailable for older cars. We are always looking for alternative sources that have leftover supplies.
If we expect a part to be available again, that process can take from one week to three months. "Back ordered, no ETA" usually indeed means that there isn't an ETA.
