Our selection of Genuine and OE/OEM parts includes components that would have been installed on your vehicle from the factory.
Genuine parts are supplied through the vehicle manufacturer's official parts network and typically include the manufacturer's branding and logos.
OE/OEM parts are produced by the same original equipment manufacturers (OEs) that supply components for vehicle manufacturers. Many vehicle manufacturers, including BMW, Volvo, and others, do not manufacture every component themselves. Instead, they contract specialized suppliers to produce many of the parts used in their vehicles.
When purchasing an OE/OEM part, any Genuine manufacturer logos or branding may have been removed, scratched, ground, or otherwise marked out. This is done to allow the part to be sold outside of the vehicle manufacturer's authorized dealer network due to licensing and branding agreements.
Whether you choose Genuine or OE/OEM, both options are designed to meet the original specifications and fitment requirements of your vehicle.
